The SILVIA S15 was the weapon of choice for a generation of Japanese urban racers and still retains a huge following on the streets. To channel its racing technology back to the streets, NISMO developed the R-Tune PROTO with its aero parts and highly modified chassis with unique PROTO graphics and coloring to signify its tuned-car status. Here is the Japanese street car demanded by so many Mini-Z fans! The Mini-Z Racer MR-015RM chassis can be adjusted to different wheelbases, tread widths and chassis heights as the base for incredibly realistic scale body styles with minimal overhang. Combined with the high-performance control unit with built-in digital servo and FET speed controller from the MR-02 chassis, both high-level performance and scale form are achieved. Also, the weight distribution from the rear mounted motor and the changes in the center of gravity with acceleration and deceleration, strong traction is achieved. Gentle control allows both high speeds and driver-friendly characteristics to be realized!
Outstanding maintenance features include one-touch tie-rods for fast attachment and release of the top bridge. Smooth front suspension features king-pin and coil system. Swing axle rear suspension effectively transfers traction. The spectacular scale running style of the lightweight MR-015 chassis is now equipped with the RA-4B FET amp. A new surface finishing technology that provides a hard glossy finish in bright lustrous colors. The hardened surface protects the paintwork from marks and dirt so the beautiful car body is easily maintained in all its original glory.
