Stefano Berna and his M1B Turbo wins in Gragnano, Lucca Italy

"On Sunday September 16, 2007, there are finds again on the track “Leccio” in Gragnano – Lucca (Italy), in order to dispute the second race of the recent history of this new track, been born few months ago thanks to the passion of the two Galantuomini’s brothers. The track appeals to the drivers, and regarding the inauguration race in July, the affluence of the drivers has been greater, uniforms like always in two categories; Junior and Senior. After the four heats of qualification, we have eaten all together in the “Restaurant Leccio”, close the track, in joy and without haste. After eating and drunking, we return to the track in order to conclude the manifestation. Before the start of the Junior Final, the sky without warning has been filled up of black clouds, with serious rain risk, and effectively it has arrived and begins to fall, few minutes after the start. It was raining heavily for 10 minutes and then it stopped, without creating any problem to the contenders. The driver of Belgian origin, Christophe Vallet (Crono), starts from the Pole Position and goes to the lead, demonstrating his big form, follows by Ricci (M1B), like a shadow. Unfortunately Vallet after few minutes is forced to withdraw from the race due to mechanical problems, a big shame, however the beautiful race remains. Ricci takes the lead but with Michele Galantuomini (M1B) right behind him, after some problems at the beginning, is recovering very strong and with many fast turns. But Ricci has demonstrated of having margin and being able to control his first position. The beautiful duel between these two boys will last until to the term of the contest, and we see Ricci win on Galantuomini. Remarkable Ricci’s performance, to his first contest in off road racing, and after to have before taken the contact with the car and the single track, the day before only! Optimal also the third place of Mauro Damiano (Kyosho), than also with least experience has demonstrated he has an intelligent and value driver."

"Senior Final, leaves with the little humid track, than but it will be dried up quickly. In the July contest, Berna was forced to withdraw for a technical failure, few minutes from the end, while he was in the led. This time it has been all good, Berna started from the Pole Position, and he takes the win without problems, favored to the perfection from his M1B, motorized Picco and rubberized Pmt. Second excellent place for David Rafanelli (Mugen), indeed happy and satisfied of the own contest. Optimal also the third place of Fabio Vaccaro (Crono), that he has decided to abandon the Monster Truck’s racing and to pass to the Buggies. Naturally like ever, at the ends of the finals, not still satiated to drive, all the drivers are returns in track to turn, in order to enjoy themselves. When there is the passion, is all!
