With its concentrated mass and ultra-low chassis height, the low center of gravity and intense compact nature of the MR-02 give it the Mini-Z’s highest performance specifications. Even more running performance potential has been added, and the components combine easily to produce an even higher-level result. With the motor mounted on the middle of the rear axle (Mid Motor Mount), the variable wheelbase settings match a wide choice of body styles. As one of the heaviest parts on the chassis, the position of the motor on the rear axle makes ideal use of the motors power and the changes in center of gravity to produce improved traction for acceleration and deceleration. The rear-mounted motor, combined with the sophisticated suspension design, produces precision control.
The No.12 Calsonic Nissan GT-R marked its debut year in 2008 with strong performance and two standout victories. While only qualifying 12th fastest for the last race of the season, the team’s gamble with slick tires despite the wet conditions paid off dramatically. The No.12 GT-R powered to the front after 18 laps and never looked back in a dramatic come from behind victory.

Gear Guard - Equipped with gear guard to protect gears and shocks from the surface. Allows free setting of the gear ratio for faster acceleration on high speed courses. Realistic Body - Features different front and rear tire width that accurately recreate the dimensions of the Nissan GT-R. Roll Action - Friction shocks included as standard. Reduces unnecessary movement in roll action for excellent road holding characteristics. Super Fast Signal - Super fast signal processing produces great control response and FET amp with more than double the capacity of the previous version delivers even more powerful running performance. New Knuckle Design - New front knuckle design has been optimized to specially calibrated front wheel and tire dimensions. Allows plenty of suspension stroke even with the low clearance of a Nissan GT-R body. One Touch - The snap-lock system used in the front suspension unit makes attaching/removing the one-touch tie-rods, king pins and coil springs, fast and simple. 1 Hour Run Time (aprox) - Enjoy run times approx about 1 hour with only four ordinary AAA’s. Variety Of Option Parts - Huge variety of option parts so you can upgrade the level of performance as high as you like. Fine Hand Polish - A new surface finishing technology that provides a hard glossy finish that brings out the true luster of each color. The hardened surface protects the paint from marks and dirt, so the car looks great even after a hard day at the racetrack.

The Motul Autech No.22 provided a glimpse of the NISSAN GT-R’s power. After claiming pole position in its first race, the potential was shown with a 2nd place finish in the final. The same results were also produced in the fourth round. The racing series provided a clear insight into the GT-R’s speed and power.
