Serpent 960, a World Beater (Part 2) Refinement Serpent is pleased to confirm the rumours (read on the Internet and heard trackside) about their new 1/8th scale racecar. In early August 2005 we will be releasing our new flagship 1/8th scale car, the Serpent 960 (nine sixty). It will be available in stores shortly thereafter. This weekend, Serpent factory drivers Michael Salven & Rick V will debut this amazing new car in the German Nationals and Dutch Nationals, respectively. Extensively tested, the Serpent 960 is an evolution of the multiple race-winning 950R, with enough changes to warrant a new series name. Whilst no one area has been drastically changed, every area has been improved resulting in better construction, stronger parts, ease-of-driving and ultimately quicker lap times as our tests have shown. Serpent, along with our team drivers, are so confident about the performance of the new S960 that we have decided to race it at the upcoming World Championships.
