The Losi LST2 is a definite improvement over the original. In fact I see many existing owners simply buying the new version of the truck due to the very noteworthy changes made. It's tougher, faster, and offers more for the money than it did before. To put it mildly, this truck rocks!


I'd have to look hard to find much fault at all with this truck. The main thing I'd have to argue against would be the hex adapters. While they are much better than the 14mm adapters used previously, the 20mm size used simply restricts your wheel choices. A size of 23mm would have been a much better choice.


The radio should easily address the needs of nearly anyone but the most hardcore of hobbyists. Of all the trucks on the market, the LST platform can easily beat everyone in this category. Then, with the handheld starter included, the truck is as user friendly as it can get.


The LST2 is an even more solid and impressive package than when the truck was released over a year ago. Some things simply get better with time and its clear, after spending some time with the LST2, that this truck falls into that category with ease. I expect I'll be seeing a lot more LST's at the track than ever before, as the platform is certain to increase its appeal from here!
